SkillsNET® Assists Red Oak ISD in Superintendent of Schools Selection

WAXAHACHIE, TX April 2007 -

The Board of Trustees for the Red Oak Independent School District (RISD) is in the process of locating their next Superintendent of Schools, and they have selected SkillsNET to aid them in the process. This collaborative effort is being performed by the use of SkillsNET’s revolutionary tools for job analysis and interview creation; SkillsObject Designer® and Behavioral Based Interview®.

The use of SkillObject Designer enabled RISD to capture data that identifies the specific tasks, tools, resources, and unique knowledge associated with the Superintendent position; along with the skills and abilities required for successful performance. With this data, SkillsNET was able to populate its Behavioral Based Interview tool to generate job related interview questions. This effective process places SkillsNET’s tool suite in a stand alone stance when it comes to the job analysis arena. “If you want the most efficient means for job selection criteria, there’s no better tools on the market than these two,” said John Henderson, SkillsNET’s Vice President of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

In addition to this campaign, SkillsNET and Red Oak ISD are continuing discussions involving district wide job data collection.
