Irby Electric Selects SkillsNET® to Perform Job Analysis for Three Key Positions

WAXAHACHIE, TX April 2007 -

The Irby organization, one of the nation’s leading electrical distributors, selects SkillsNET’s SkillObject Designer® to conduct job analysis for three key positions: Branch Operations Manager, Inside Sales, and Counter Sales. This effort is focused on specifying the tasks, tools, resources, unique knowledge, and SkillObjects® that are associated with these positions as well as the skills and abilities required for successful job performance.

SkillsNET will also facilitate the identification of position specific critical task data. This critical data will be used to determine the frequency of performance, difficulty to learn, along with the delineation of individual proficiencies across all of the work elements found within these positions.

Stuart C. Irby Company has over 650 employees in over 40 locations that service customers in utility, commercial, industrial and residential sectors through multiple locations, with U.S. operations based in Jackson, MS. Irby recently merged with Sonepar, the world’s largest electrical distributor and an $8 billion dollar international organization based in France.
