SkillsNET® Skills Analysts Attend SEAPRINT Meeting in Orlando

SkillsNET's own Jennifer Narkevicius and Sarah Cotten were on hand at NAVAIR in Orlando, Florida January 31-February 1 at the monthly Team Lead meeting of SEAPRINT (Systems Engineering, Acquisition and Personnel Integration), the Navy's Enterprise approach to Human Systems Integration (HSI). They joined eleven other SEAPRINT team members at the two-day meeting to continue technical development of SEAPRINT processes and finalize the Navy's policy for HSI.

SEAPRINT, began in 2003 by a multidisciplinary team of professionals from the commerce and military sectors, provides the architecture and processes and identifies tool sets that allow the successful implementation of decision-making systems across organizational structures. They are designed to be both scalable and work within a current structure while simultaneously transforming it. SEAPRINT recognizes that the success of mission capable weapons systems hinges on the successful performance of the humans interacting with these systems to meet the operational capabilities - a tenet which is true for any organization that wishes to optimize workflow performance.

SEAPRINT members who attended the February meeting are, left to right, John Winters, Basic Commerce and Industry, Inc.; Bob Sargent, Micro Analysis and Design; Olin Green, SYS Corporation; Tim Bagnall, Micro Analysis and Design; John Lockett, US Army ARL/HRED; David Dickason, US Navy, NPRST; Dick Armstrong, Basic Commerce and Industry, Inc.; Jerry Davis, US Navy, NAVMAC; Christine Imgrund, SERCO; Karen Yates, US Navy, NAVAIR; Julie Stark, Basic Commerce and Industry, Inc.; Jennifer Narkevicius, SkillsNET Corporation; and Sarah Cotton, SkillsNET Corporation. Not pictured is John Owen, US Navy NAVAIR and SEAPRINT Program Manager.

For more information on SEAPRINT, contact Dr Jen Narkevicius at 972-900-2014.

About SkillsNET
SkillsNET provides a revolutionary tool suite and consulting service, which allows enterprises to rapidly capture work, worker, and workplace skill data elements (SkillObjects®) and their relationship to performance. The SkillsNET methodology allows employers to capture their workforce environment through web-based applications with minimal worker and capital investment. Highly trained Skills Analysts and Industrial and Organizational Psychologists, available on-site or via phone, assist the employee and employer through the data collection process. At the end of the process, employers receive a detailed analysis of the skill base required in their workforce, the level of skill in the current workforce, and the performance standards needed to operate in today's dynamic environment. SkillsNET methodology is aligned with the Department of Labor O*NET taxonomy. For additional information please visit www.skillsnet.com.
